First Winner for Cape Blanco Tara Madgwick – Wednesday, 27 May 2015

Cape Blanco (IRE) had his first yearlings sell in Australasia earlier this year following his stint at Cambridge Stud in New Zealand and Galileo’s multiple Group I winning son is reported to have sired his first winner last weekend in Russia.

Cape Victory was bred in the US by Tada Nobutaka out of Alegendinmyownmind, a daughter of Cape Cross and Oaks placegetter Midnight Line.

She was sold at last year’s Fasig-Tipton July Yearling Sale for $40,000 and subsequently exported to Russia.

Cape Blanco covered some very good mares at Cambridge and had 44 yearlings sell here this year across all sales averaging over $90,000 with a top seller of $450,000
