Alaa Plenty produced a determined late surge to snatch victory in the RMBL Investments Rising Stars Race, arriving in the final strides to grab the win right on the line.
Settling beautifully just off the speed, Alaa Plenty travelled comfortably while the leaders set a genuine tempo. Turning for home, he had cover and clear running, and once balanced in the straight he began to lengthen impressively.
Zeer Lin dashed clear inside the final stages, but Alaa Plenty was building momentum with every stride. Under a strong and well-judged ride from Bree Temple, he dug deep, closing relentlessly before diving through at exactly the right moment to score in a dramatic finish.
It was a performance full of grit and timing — the type of win that highlights both courage and composure.
Prepared by Peter Moody and Katherine Coleman, Alaa Plenty continues to reward the team’s careful placement and patient approach. Still building confidence and strength, he showed a terrific will to compete and plenty of upside for what’s ahead.
