Peter Moody

Bloodstock Manager

PETER Moody needs no introduction. As a master trainer he has carved his name in to racing folklore with two unique achievements that may never be challenged.

The leading trainer guided the world’s highest-rated galloper – Black Caviar – to an extraordinary 25 wins, including an Australasian record of 15 Group 1 wins, in an undefeated career that earned her three Australian Racehorse of the year titles.

The mare’s victory in the famed Diamond Jubilee at Royal Ascot cemented her status as a legend of the Australian turf and confirmed Peter’s reputation as one of Australia’s finest horsemen of his generation.

We welcome Peter to his new role as Dalziel Racing’s exclusive Bloodstock Advisor. His guiding hand and wealth of experience will be a great bonus.

Going forward, his role will encompass inspecting and identifying yearlings with Wylie to add to the Dalziel Racing Team. He will also advise on the movement of the horses within our syndicate.
