Aquagirl narrowly missed nailing Dance To Dubai in a thrilling finish in the BM78 race at Caulfield on Saturday but lost no admirers when carrying 60.5kg even after the 2kg claim for apprentice Alana Kelly.
Aquagirl was a $55,000 Magic Millions purchase selected by champion trainer Peter Moody and Wylie Dalziel.
Having now won almost $250,000 in prizemoney for connections who brought into the horse through Dalziel’s Racehorse Syndication, Aquagirl is well-poised to continue to enhance her value as a future broodmare.
