Brazen Kingdom’s patient owners were rewarded on Thursday at Pakenham when the rising four-year-old romped his maiden in at start number four.

First-up over 1400m, the gelding went up on speed from a wide barrier and travelled sweetly throughout before jockey Brian Higgins pushed the button at the 300m and the favourite did not disappoint.

Purchased at the Karaka Sales in New Zealand in 2021 by Wylie Dalziel and now trainer Peter Moody, the half-brother to Newhaven Park stallion Cool Aza Beel, looks a progressive staying type with city races in mind.
