Veteran mare Ambidazzle produced the first Victorian win of her career thus continuing a purple patch of form by Wylie Dalziel Racing runners.

The bargain $22,000 fall of hammer purchase has recently relocated from trainer Phillip Stokes Adelaide operation to his Pakenham stables and looks to be relishing her new surrounds.

Making the most of Sheridan Clarke’s 2kg claim, the rising seven-year-old was able to control the race from the early stages and never looked seriously threatened, pulling away to win by two and a half lengths.

Her career earnings are now pushing toward $250,000 and the ever-consistent mare looks to have plenty more good races in her for a loyal group of owners.

Ambidazzle was the fourth winner in six days for Dalziel Bloodstock after the victories of Boogie Dancer at Caulfield, Hennessy Lad on debut at Sale and Rising Sphere at Darwin.
