Dance to Dubai further enhanced her broodmare status, in turn passing her purchase price in prizemoney, when leading the way in a Dalziel Racing quinella at Caulfield on May 7.
The four-year-old Peter Moody trained mare, a $110,000 Magic Millions purchase selected by Moody and Wylie Dalziel, scored the fourth win of her 13-start career when edging out Aquagirl, who is also syndicated by Dalziel Racing.
The first up win over 1100m should provide a nice platform for the remainder of her winter preparation.
Dance to Dubai has now won or placed in more than 50 per cent of her career starts since debuting as a late two-year-old in July 2020.
