Global Turn delivered a sensational performance to win Race 8 at Morphettville today. She broke well and settled second last in the field. Jockey Jade Doyle who rode the filly to perfection working her way to the middle of the field. The filly eager to gain ground. As they approached the home turn, she balanced nicely under pressure, working her way through the field to burst clear and then lengthened with authority. In those final 100 metres she ran past the leaders in style, drawing clear for a commanding and dominant victory.
Meanwhile, stablemate Stolen Kiss dug deep in a wide run close to the outside to claim an excellent third — a thrilling outcome for the stable and ownership group.
Global Turn is trained by Phillip Stokes and carries the colours of Wylie Dalziel – Roy Higgins Racing among other partners. Her breeding also shows she’s by Star Turn out of Global Network.
