Itazura Breaks Through at Seymour!

Itazura delivered a terrific result at Seymour on Sunday, breaking through for his first career win in Race 4, the Choices Flooring Seymour & Euroa Maiden Plate, with a confident and professional performance.

Ridden patiently by Luke Nolen, Itazura travelled comfortably throughout the run before being brought into the race at just the right time. When asked to quicken, he responded strongly, showing determination and maturity to pull clear and score a well-deserved victory.

This win was especially pleasing for the team, with a big thank you to Peter Moody and Katherine Coleman of Moody Racing, whose early guidance and foundation work helped set Itazura on the right path. Seeing that groundwork translate into race-day success is always rewarding.

Congratulations to all the owners on this exciting milestone win, and credit to everyone involved in Itazura’s preparation. He continues to improve and looks to have plenty of upside as he progresses through the grades.
