A well-deserved result for Let It Beel, who broke through for an impressive maiden victory at Southside Cranbourne on Friday night, taking out Race 4 – the Core Protective Group Maiden Plate.
Settling comfortably in the run, Let It Beel travelled strongly throughout before producing a decisive turn of foot when it mattered most. As the field straightened, he quickly asserted himself under Luke Nolen, showing great balance and determination to extend clear and secure a dominant win.
It was a confident and polished ride from Luke Nolen, who had the gelding in the perfect position throughout, allowing him to build momentum and finish the race off strongly. The way he hit the line suggests this is a horse with plenty of upside as he continues to develop.
Prepared by the outstanding team of Peter Moody and Katherine Coleman, Let It Beel’s performance is a testament to the patience, placement and care from the Moody Racing stable. The son of Savabeel is continuing to improve with racing, and this breakthrough victory looks like the start of more success to come.
