It was redemption in style for our exciting 3YO gelding Savamoon, who charged home to break his maiden in dominant fashion at Cranbourne!
The son of champion sire Savabeel had previously crossed the line first in a maiden, only to be relegated on protest. But there were no protests and no doubts this time — Savamoon showed his rivals a clean set of heels, surging away to score a convincing 2.5-length win.
Now with 1 win and 4 placings from just 7 starts, this progressive young galloper is clearly building into a smart type, and we can’t wait to see him back in the winner’s circle again soon!
