The 4YO daughter of top Rosemont Stud stallion Shamus Award had been knocking on the door in her previous starts, showing promise with every run. With patience from her owners and the Stokes Racing team, she finally put it all together – storming home late to grab victory in the shadows of the post after it looked like the leader had the race sewn up.
It was a terrific training effort from Phillip, Tommy, and Kieran Stokes and the whole team, and a top ride by Jacob Opperman who timed his run to perfection!
A huge congratulations to her loyal ownership group – wins like these are made even sweeter by the journey to get there. With the maiden out of the way, Stolen Kiss looks set to progress and add more wins to her record.
