Thinking Gold has finally cracked it! This big, bold son of champion sire So You Think broke through for a well-deserved maiden victory at Geelong – and what a win it was!
Having just his sixth career start, Thinking Gold showed his staying promise, rating beautifully under a confident ride from Koby Jennings. He’s now had 1 win and 4 placings from just 6 runs – a model of consistency and a horse on the rise!
There’s a bit of pedigree sparkle too – he’s a half-brother to our very own Harlow Gold, a multiple stakes performer who famously ran 2nd in the VRC Oaks. No doubt the staying talent runs deep in this family!
Bred by Rosemont Stud and raced in partnership under the Dalziel / Rosemont Stud silks, it’s another special result for a great ownership group. Our thanks and congratulations go out to all the owners, as well as to Peter Moody, Katherine Coleman and their team for another top training performance. And of course – a huge shoutout to Koby Jennings for a perfectly timed ride!
