Since joining the Gary Clarke stables just over 12 months ago the 5YO son of champion stallion Starspangledbanner has found a liking for the top end winning 4 races including breaking the track record in Darwin over the 1100 metre circuit in September last year. Patriotic King achieved this feat by winning race 2 last Wednesday, July 17th, 2024 in Darwin.
His rivals tried to take him on again early but the King , ridden by top Darwin hoop Jarrod Todd was simply too fast and once again recorded an amazingly fast time.
Purchased by Dalziel Bloodstock and raced with a small group of great loyal owners including Rosemont Stud who bred Patriotic King he looks set to win more races over the 2024 Darwin Carnival.
