3-Year-Old Filly Triumphant Miss gave her patient owners a huge thrill when she sprouted wings to run over the top of her rivals to win a 1600 metre maiden at only her second career race start at Moe racecourse. The Daughter of shuttle stallion Almanzor was purchased by Wylie and Peter Moody at the NZB Karaka sales in 2021. The beautifully bred filly has been given plenty of time to mature and looks to have good racing upside in the future. Triumphant Miss showed a great turn of foot in the last one hundred metres and showed her intentions that she can go onto to better races over further distances. Jockey Thomas Stockdale was full of praise for the filly and gave her a great ride throughout.
