Rampant Lion once again showed his talent by winning his second race at only his 8th race start. The stakes placed son of Frankel has had his setbacks but has returned in great order this preparation. He needed every inch of the Pakenham straight to catch the leaders in what was a terrific ride by young jockey Thomas Stockdale who is riding in career best form.
Rampant Lion is another success story for the partnership of Wylie Dalziel and Rosemont stud when teaming up to race horses. The Rosemont bred partnership horses also include dual group one winner Mr Quickie and stakes placed Gates.
