Singleton Park returned to form at Ballarat capitalising on his lust for the synthetic surface to score impressively under Zac Spain.
The good looking gelding was plucked out of the Karaka Sales by Wylie Dalziel and Peter Moody and sent on to Moody’s good mate, Phillip Stokes to train.
A $90,000 purchase by Dalziel Racing Syndication, things haven’t gone entirely to plan for Singleton Park since his maiden win but he certainly looked to show the type of form once believed capable of him at Ballarat on May 16.
In cruise control sitting in the second half of the field until the 400m, he quickened around the turn rounding up all in front of him as he powered him down the outside to score a comfortable win over the 1400m trip.
