Wylie’s Waffle – Episode 4
What happens when Wylie Dalziel sits down with Peter Moody for a catch-up about racing, recent winners, the horses coming through—and somehow ends up talking about golf?
Welcome to Wylie’s Waffle – Episode 4.
There has been plenty happening across the Dalziel Racing team, and Wylie and Peter take some time to look back at our recent run of winners, including the Pakenham treble, Itazura at Flemington, Patriotic King in Darwin and Honour The Bassett’s winning debut.
But the results on race day are only part of the story.
Peter shares some insight into the young horses progressing through the stable, the importance of giving developing horses the time they need, and what the team is looking forward to as we head further into the spring.
And then there’s the upcoming Dalziel Racing Golf Day on 17 September.
Some of Peter’s close mates apparently aren’t convinced he’ll actually pick up a golf club. Peter, however, may already have found himself a very important role for the day—captain-coach of the drinks cart.
Will he actually play?
There’s only one way to find out.
