    Testimonials

    Louise Dingley

I have had winners, some losers and many place getters over the years. That's racing... BUT being able to experience 'more than the track' makes having a share with Wylie exciting and memorable. The friendships forged with other owners and the opportunities to enjoy yearling parades, social events and, of course, racing is second to none.

    Garry Goyne

At Dalziel Racing you feel part of the team. Great communication and follow up. And best of all - WINNERS!

    Peter Chapman

I have tried many ways to race horses, including breeding, tried horses and buy from the sales myself. But I have found the best way is to let the experts like Wylie and Pete Moody do all the work in selecting horses and then take shares in well-bred and selected horses by them. I have had the best success by far with Wylie Dalziel racing. Communication is also second to none.

    Mark Mitchell

I have been involved with Dalziel Racing for over 12 years and have worked closely with Wylie during this time. He is very knowledgeable in all aspects of the game and has worked hard to build a syndication brand that is one of the best in the country. He is always approachable and provides his clients with the best communication and updates on all their horses which is paramount to a successful operation. “My first horse with Wylie was Moshe (now at stud) who is the only full brother to the great Black Caviar, from there I graduated to Harlow Gold who came 2nd in the VRC Oaks and now am an excited part owner of 2 time Group 1 winner Mr Quickie. Wylie’s ability to purchase cheaper yearlings makes it easier for many people to get involved at an affordable level and for anyone looking to get involved in horse syndication I can’t speak highly enough of him and his operation.

    Pat Egan

My Association with Wylie Dalziel began many years ago when he and Roy Higgins began their horse racing syndications. Since Roy's passing, Wylie has continued having great success with many winners. I have encouraged many of my friends and acquaintances to come on board to share in the excitement. I still remember my first win with Lord Soffel in a Ballarat maiden ridden by The Gauch. This thrill and the comradery of the syndication have kept me in involved over the years. Communication by phone email and video are second to none. You know at any given time exactly where your horse is and weekly video reports advise how it is progressing. I have always found Wylie to be honest and frank in his assessment of his horses and his actions reflect this. Last Saturday I had my first Group One runner in the Oakleigh Plate although he didn't win, having a horse start favourite in a Group One was a dream come true. Wylie is a hard-working family man who I am proud to call my friend.
